well, big carryover on an otherwise uninspiring card.
r2: excessive spice. it takes quite a bit for me to pick against a young offspring of siphon, but i'm sticking to the debutante by in excess. 'spice is working very well for a trainer who can get them cranked first time out. gate to wire.
r5: there's a ton of speed signed up today in this starters allowance and my first choice, memo to russ is buried on the rail going 6.5f, not the place to be; particularly with omar the bear calling the shots. therefore, i'm opting for pacific armada, who, if he breaks alerty, will have a nice cozy outside post to drop in behind the speed. i can cook scares me, but we're staring 2/1 in the face and that horse hasn't run since march where a bunch of these are more than capable on their best day.
r6: native approval. probably my pick six single today as he ran a bang up race last time. i worry that courageous act will get too big of a jump on him, but 'act doesn't run like routing will be a strong suit, and being by sprinter exploit, i'm hoping he goes too fast early. the intriguing one is sultan bey, who i would include on smaller tickets, as it is near impossible to win routing on dirt first time out of the box, but marquez is very crafty and this one is bred to run all day.
r7: fencelineneighbor. what a scramble race. 'neighbor is listed as the m/l favorite and she's a tepid 7/2. this race is wide open and i recommend getting at least 4/1 on whomever you back. i'm guessing i'll see that on 'neighbor, who is reuinted with jose valdivia for this mile affair. she's been training well and has the best trait for routers, tactical speed. there isn't that much speed signed on, so she should be able to rate right behind alashir's world (who is by top class miler spinning world and is my second choice at a ridiculous 12/1) and amber hills.
good luck. i do like tender teen in the 8th, but i think they're going to pound her at the windows.
